Chapter 6: Courage

Excerpts

Have the courage to let go of all to which you cling on this earth.

Much greater things await you in the spiritual plane.

Clinging to earthly pleasures will only hold you back from your true potential and purpose in this life.

Build you hope on the true power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Just because you decide one day to change your life for the better does not mean you will no longer be tempted by worldly things.  It is during those times that you may see some of life's greatest temptations.

Call upon your spiritual guides for help and assistance.

Know that earthly rewards are but temporary, a mirage.  They fall through your fingers like sand.

Grow in the joy and understanding that far better things await you than what you see on this earth.

Chapter 5: Your Responsibilities on Earth

Excerpts

It is the responsibility of every human to make this earthly planet a better place to live for all mankind.

Peace and understanding lead to truth and righteousness.  They are the keys to happiness in this life and your ticket to freedom into the spiritual plane.

Our stay on this physical plane is temporary and our purpose is explicit—love God, love one another.

No greater good can be accomplished than to help a friend in time of need, and this is true.

It is by helping others that we find our true purpose and ourselves.

The task of healing the world is massive, but it all starts with you and your willingness to show kindness and trust to those around you.

Be slow to anger, harbor your hatred.

Have courage; hold on to the truth—for as it is written, the truth shall set you free.

Do not dwell on tomorrow’s issues today.

Look in front of you at the opportunities you have each day to help make this world a better place.

Do not mistake kindness for weakness.

Helping someone else can prove to be one of the greatest joys in life.

Respect one another, show patience, give of yourself when you have the opportunity to do so.

Provide safety and shelter for those in need and food for those who are hungry.

The secrets of life are simple. Choose love over hate, peace over war, patience over anger, good over evil.

Do what your heart tells you is right. Let your heart, not your head, be your guide.

Look for the good in all of your brothers and sisters across the world.

Do not let fear and anger lead you away from this mission.

We are all one with a calling to return to our spiritual home.

Hold on to faith.

Walk in the ways of the Lord on a daily basis. Know that He is your key to salvation.

You have the right to choose and the duty to help your fellow man.

True happiness is found in giving of yourself to your fellow man.

Do not cling to material things. Give them up and free your spirit for a much greater joy which awaits you.

Go in peace, knowledge, and understanding that the One who made you will guide and protect you. He will give you courage if you ask.

Have patience.

Rejoice in the simple pleasures of life.

Hold on to all that is good and true.

Chapter 4: Your Unique Purpose

Excerpts

We all have a mission, a purpose which is unique to who we are and what we are meant to do.  The answer may be found in quiet reflection and meditation.

Your mission in this life may be far different from anything you could have imagined.  It is the purpose of our guides, in part, to help us uncover these talents so that we may fulfill our mission in this life.

Without the help of our guides, none of us is fully aware of what we can do or accomplish.

What you are called to do is unique—a mission for you alone.

Taking things for granted is never a wise choice.

Do not try to steer the way.  Enjoy the ride.  it is your ride--a journey planned uniquely for you.

Chapter 3: Using Your Time Wisely

Excerpts

Live in the present.  Do not fret about the past or the future.  You can do nothing about either one.

What you learn is in many ways based on how you choose to spend your time.

Stay focused on your end goal.  Do not be upset or derailed by life's daily frustrations, for they all represent learning experiences to help you grow and become a better person.

You can achieve great things in your own special ways by caring for a sick or dying friend, helping a child to learn, or opening a door for a stranger.

One good act inspires another, and with this comes a chain reaction that inspires good throughout the world.

Do not be afraid to try an act of kindness.  I tell you, it takes more courage to show kindness than anger.  Anger is easy, thoughtless, and selfish.  Its purpose is to drag us down.  It quickly can consume you and those around you.

Choosing the path of kindness leads you toward the Light.  It gives you many opportunities to do things for other people.

Help a friend, be kind to your neighbor, and resist the temptation toward anger.

Hold on to the belief that the world can be a better place and that it starts with you.

Challenge yourself daily to commit one selfless act for another person.

The gifts you give will be returned to you many times over in a happy and fruitful life.

Excerpts

There is no time like the present to make a positive change in your life.

Take the first step. Do it on faith.

Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that we never dreamed possible.  It is at these times we know most that our guides are at work.

Messages will come to you in the quite hours that will help shape our lives.

Align yourself with those who create positive energy in your life.

Nobody was brought here to fail.  We all have the chance for success.

Decide for yourself each day is going to be a wonderful opportunity to learn and a chance to move one step closer to your destiny in life.

Chapter 1: Getting in Touch with Yourself

Excerpts

Before you can begin to understand who you are, you must first be in touch with your own feelings. Become aware of yourself--your goals, sensitivities, limitations and beliefs. It is important for everyone who seeks the truth to be truthful about who they are and why they are here in the physical plane.

It is not until you experience the darkness that you truly can appreciate the Light and recognize why it is so important.

While you are asleep, most of you dream.  In those dreams, many lessons will be revealed.

Knowing yourself means understanding whether you wish to follow the Light or the darkness.

We all have the choice--we all make our own choices.

It is up to you to determine if you want to be a child of the Light or of the darkness.

Know that you have helpers or guides in the spiritual plane who are eager to assist you on a daily basis.

Let your faith guide you, and do not be afraid.
